Little is known about the authors of most of the pamphlets in this collection. Some provide a list of their qualifications when writing informational pamphlets or identify a career. However, it is possible that these claims are made to sell pamphlets. Many write with pseudonyms and cite different distinctions for their invented identities. For example, Nathan Njoku writes as Felix Stephen. Marius Nkwoh uses his governmental position to promote his pamphlets, and Sunday Olisah created the title “Strong Man of the Pen” to entice readers. Individual information on the authors is often included in the pamphlet summaries.
